Olakunle Akinyode - Registered Psychologist
Specializes in ADHD and supporting Men.

Olakunle specializes in working with men but is comfortable supporting a diverse population. He has worked with clients who deal with mood, stress, low self-esteem, and assisted clients in learning how to live well while managing a mental illness. He has also worked with couples and families to help re-establish positive connections. Olakunle is currently taking on new clients as well as ADHD/Mood assessments.

Christine Gatzke - Registered P. Psychologist
Specializes in supporting dysfunctional sleep, relationship to food and pain management/somatic experiences.

Christine Gatzke, M.Ed. (Counselling), M.Ed. (Psych), Registered Provisional Psychologist in Alberta and an international/national speaker

Nearing 19+ years of clinical experience, Christine works with individuals, couples, and families ranging from 5-80+ years old. She obtained her first M.Ed. in Counselling from the University of Ottawa, she received post-graduate training in Gestalt Psychotherapy via the Gestalt Institute of Ottawa. In 2015, she was granted another M.Ed. (in School and Counselling Psychology) from the University of Saskatchewan. Trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Christine is certified in working with Children and Families via the Hincks-Dellcrest Institute in Toronto. Christine specializes and is trained in
Adoption, Adoption Reunion and Foster Care Counselling, via The Carlini Institute and Algonquin College. In addition, Christine obtained both beginner/advanced certificates in
Dyadic Development Psychotherapy (for attachment issues and behavioural difficulties) with Dr. Daniel Hughes and Infertility Counselling Certification via Tape Educational Services. A certified Life and Career Coach via the Certified Coaches Federation, she also completed Advanced Levels of Expressive Arts Therapy with Dr. Cathy Malchiodi. Currently, she has completed two beginner module levels in Somatic Experiencing Training, as devised by Dr. Peter Levine (ongoing studies until completion in 2024). Using a collaborative and eclectic approach with clients, she specializes in (but not limited to): mood, abuse(incl. narcissistic abuse), sleep concerns, adoption/foster care, grief & loss, pain management, and life coaching/career/school and learning concerns.

Getrude Adiele Profile RSW, MSW

Gertrude Adiele has been in the helping profession since 2014. She received her Master's in Clinical Social work degree from the University of British Columbia and her Bachelor of Social work from the University of Nigeria. She is a Registered Clinical Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Alberta College of Social Workers.
Gertrude amassed clinical experience in child and family agencies, residential centers, outpatient clinics, and hospitals. She is committed to providing Individual, family and group Counselling/Therapy to individuals from diverse Backgrounds. Gertrude has specialized training and experience supporting moving past abuse and working with clients through a harm reduction approach. She has experience working with indigenous families and communities, facilitating family reunification, and providing a safe environment to process and understand how the different dynamics in the client's family contribute to the present situation.
Gertrude's approach to treatment necessitates therapeutic alliance, which encourages the mutual development of therapy goals. She uses the family systems theory as a grounding modality based on the premise that most adult challenges are deeply rooted in childhood experiences. Gertrude recognizes that no one approach is ideal for every individual. Therefore, she uses different clinical modalities like Cognitive behavioural therapy, Dialectical behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, Person-centred approach, and biopsychosocial approach.

Sarah Bauerlein - Registered P. Psychologist
Specializes in Mood and personality disorders and ADHD.

Sarah has several years of experience working with diverse clientele; she brings competency and compassion to her work. She has supported clients with various concerns, including mood (including post-partum), guilt/shame, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), mood instability, ADHD, relationship concerns, self-empowerment, addictions, life transitions, grief, abuse, anger, and stress management.
She believes the therapeutic relationship is the key to effective therapy and works diligently to make her clients feel heard, supported, and empowered during sessions. She operates from a client-centred approach, which means she views each client as an agent capable of positive change and resiliency. She collaborates with her clients to ensure therapeutic goals are specific, actionable, and realistic to achieve desired outcomes.

Jocelynne is also Red Cedar's generalist. She has over 12 years of experience as an ADAC counsellor and working with individuals across the lifespan, from youth to seniors with mental health challenges and addictions.

Erin Whiteside - Speech Langauge Pathologist
Erin is an Alberta-registered Speech-Language Pathologist with years of experience.
Erin works with children aged 0-18 in the areas of language, articulation, phonology, pragmatics, motor planning, and fluency and has a special passion for supporting our “late talkers”. She has worked with children with many unique gifts and challenges (childhood apraxia of speech, cleft palate, hearing loss to name a few) AND is Hanen Certified SLP (which means that she has specialized training with early language skills) AND has completed some extra training for Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
